Today, I attended a Bible study, and the discussion was about John 11:35 It was all about the essence of that scripture: Jesus wept.
The all-knowing, all-powerful, God wept. Isn't that ironic? But it was a way of Him showing His love for Lazarus. Jesus was also letting His emotions out. So if a God let His emotions out, then I think we shouldn't hold ours back.
In some traditions, crying may be seen as a sign of weakness, but I don't think that is true. Crying is not a sign of weakness. It's an indication that we are alive.
Yes, you shouldn't cry too much- otherwise, you'll get a headache, just like we tell kids. But don't hold back your emotions. You should be free to express yourself in a healthy manner.
Sending hugs your way…
Shalom, dear one.

I had a headache today after crying. They're right to say that to children. Now I feel much better... I released all that needed to be released. Good clearing!
Thanks for the reminder. 💚
