There's no need to change your weapon.
Thursday Peace treat.

There's something people might not have noticed in action movies that unsettles me. It's when I see the hero with a small weapon like a dagger, going to confront the villain who is welding a crossbow. Does it get you alarmed too?
Nevertheless, the hero doesn't think about getting a crossbow or any bigger weapon so they'll be even. He or she just fights with the smaller weapon they are familiar with. And we know how it always ends; they win.
Today's treat is a reminder to do what you know best. A poet’s creativity is no less valuable than a painter’s.
Everyone has unique gifts and strengths. Maybe you feel pressured to change because the other person you admire excels in their field. This could also apply to personality. There are people who are good at telling jokes while others are awesome storytellers. When they try to switch places, the rhythm stops flowing.
Instead, you could nurture and develop your own strengths too. You don't need to change your weapon; just learn how to use it better, and you'll win too, like the hero in the action movie.
Let's reflect on this quote:
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. - Bruce Lee
See you on Sunday!
